"Opening of the 7th Week of culture on Plac"
Venue of 168 hours of pure culture will be flooded by crowd of young and older people, while the evening chatting and laughter will dispelled the silence between the centuries-old walls of the houses surrounding the square in the heart of the city Metlika. The honor of the opening belongs to the hip-hop dancers from Dance Society "Krokar", who will stage a street hip-hop dance performance.
"Documentary film TKNP 2010": It's everything what you can imagine!
For the overture a documentary of the festival "TKNP 2010" will be featured. TKNP festival was (as this year is) in an organization by Kud Plac. This festival gave us a big gift as free creative workshops, rich evening program and everlasting memories are. And all this is taped on film! Documentary is created by last year's multimedia workshop's participants. Are we filming another one this year? Of course! To be continued...
"Caramel Santo" (ARG): Hot Latin Lovers ;)
10-member rhythm-guitar-trumpet with ska-testosterone loaded section with gentle sax-harmonica hugs, is 16 years old and has recorded nine albums. Argentina's biggest musical export product from Mendoza will heat up hot summer bodies under the stage to the extreme with its rock Cumbio!

"Dejmo stisnt teater" (SI): Will this year also censorship be necessary?
Urban-nomadic theatre will once again unstoppable produce wacky ideas followed in a series of improvisational disciplines contributed by suggestions from the naughty audience! The range of jokes, demolition of taboos, without self-censorship!
"Šal za vesoljko ali kaj bo zraslo iz kolovrata? " (SI): Poetry cabarets
Multimedia literary show will, out of mouths from different reciters, knit poetry from the poetry collection "Vrba žalujko, veter žaluzije" of poet Pernarčič Radharani in a completely new artistic poet works.
"Zeitgeist, The Movie": Where is today's time-spirit taking us?
We'll take a look at first Zeitgeist, named The Movie, on the big screen! It's a documentary film made by independent filmmaker Peter Joseph. The first part of movie talks about the myth of Jesus, middle regards to 9/11 attack conspiracy theories and the last part is about the deception of international bankers and Federal Reserves.

Professor Barbara Sršen will speak about the art of health and long life. Healthy food and peace in mind are the base of a comprehensive health. Give your body a full basket of health and listen to what you can do yourself.
"Robert Jukič and Kramp" (SI): Goodies from the conspiracy's chest
Towards to a promised land, looking into the blue sky, we descend, we forgive and all left behind, the truth hurts - bang bang!, she'll take everything from you and only clouds and stars above them will stay. Emulsion of western and jazz music under the fingers of gang outsiders, living in the canyon of black and white world!

"Suitcase" (SI): A theater trip to atomic ages
Base on literature Atomic Ages by Vladimir Pavščič, Suzana Grav and Gašper Jarni will travel with suitcases in their hands. At 14 stations this performance is opening a visionary view on the topic of one's search for existential point, facing to the world of low self-awareness and self-striving to develop at the end of this destination in the compassionate human being.
"Ravnica Group" (SRB): Sounds of global hits from under the strings of tamburitza
Five friends from Novi Sad (Serbia) is playing gipsy, jazz, swing, pop and folk music on traditional Serbian instruments - tamburitza. Their mission is to get "tambura" closer to young people and with the formation of their music-style give to the tradition a modest contribution of this noble instrument. Energetic performance guaranteed!
Friday, 22nd of July, from 9 pm forward, Stage behind the castle
"Intruder" (SRB): Launch in the galaxy of rhythms and groovy moves!
Serbian electro-pop from Belgrade band of five has behind them a 10-year period of experimentation with electronic music and its subgenres such as techno and drum'n'bass are. Today they're playing melodies with sound structures that are energetic and emotional, but by feeling they're jazzy and atmospheric. Their soul singer is just a cherry on the top!
Line Out (SRB): Musical coloring-book painted across borders
Multi-instrumental septet from Sombor (Serbia) with a female's energetic and passionate vocal certainly defines the trip-hop, dub, funk, rock, reggae fusion of melancholic melodies and explosive sounds. Everything that's not in an accordance with the rules, everything that deviates from the frameworks, is more attractive. The audience will have a chance to stay indifferent!
Edo Maajka & Frenkie (BiH): When on Balkans hip-hop scene conquers, my heart is burning!
Under a pseudonym Edo Maajka the Bosnian-Croatian musician Edin Osmić is hiding, one of the best MC's in the Balkans, leader of all rappers, beatboxer and ingenious songwriter. In the direct way he criticizes the social situations, talks about love and war, and is running away from a lucid state of fellow people.
Guest of the evening will be Edo's colleague Hamidović Adnan known as Frenkie, who made his first steps in the hip hop culture in Germany, where he escaped with his family from the war in Bosnia. His rap-style is mostly "battle" on themes like political situations in Bosnia and pop culture.
Prepare for a double dose of energetic rap texts, great beat and a quality hip-hop!
Saturday, 23rd of July, from 9 pm forward, Stage behind the castle
"Brencl Banda" (SI): Domestic and foreign folk traditions with the Slavic spirit
A young group of hardened music veterans from 'Bistrica at Sotla' is with lots of humor, playfulness and balanced sense for heritage of tunes composing virtuoso walks on a stave. Despite traditional musical instruments they have created a unique sound that will take us on the Slavic wings to the country of folk music and freedom.
"Terrafolk" (SI): This is definitely not a band that would banish you home!
Musical hypnosis of ambitious and study-hard musicians will lead us into the whirlpool of genres that will flood us with energy, humor and spontaneity. The band combines the opposite poles like hot temper with reluctance, wisdom with nonsense and happiness with sadness. Unique and etno-burlesque band from the sunny side of Alps certainly deserves for magic melodies and the virtuosity of theirs instruments our respect!
"Kawasaki 3P" (HR): Why would you lusted after a cold beer, if there is K3P on the stage?
Phenomenal octet with 'cacophonic' punk-rock-ska music and with a strong brass section from Zagreb won't allow audience to remain cold-blooded while they perform a spectacular show. Vocal expression of the singer, who sometimes gets involved in his own microphone cables, is on the level of sincere bar's poetry and self-ironically humor. Also they know how to shock unsuspecting listeners!

"Presentation of workshops"
"Week of culture on Plac" is not only a pleasure during fresh summer evenings in-front of the stage full of music, theater, instructive words and laughter. It is particularly aimed to encourage creativity of our children and young people and also of people who are young at heart and who want to spice up the summer holidays and spend some quality time among like-minded people.
On the last day of the 7th TKNP 2011 festival we will present a new-found talents and results of what they have created by skilled hands and feet under the guidance of recognized trainers.
We'll show you oriental and folk dances, skate on Plac, walk towards the new-made mosaic that decorates the wall and to graffiti that made in a past gray wall colorful. We will take a sit on new benches that are in the park in the cool shades of trees, play VJ masterpieces and TKNP 2011's movie, see newborn photos and read comics. We will check the analysis of the river Kolpa, view recycled products and much more!
An evening of pride and satisfaction, because we have participated in the workshops and do something good for ourselves and the environment in which we live, is waiting for us!
"Fashion designer Marina Car" (SI): 'Colors of my moves' by "Dance Society Krokar" (SI)
A young designer Marina Car (28 years) is going to introduce herself with her fashion show. She has graduated from Zagreb's Faculty of Textile Technology, specialized in fashion design, where she now continues studying a master program. On the catwalk young members from Dance Society Krokar will present Marina's creations, from unique clothing to jewelry, which Marina creates in her lovely studio in the old part of town Metlika.
